Challenging Puzzle

From Lord °Wagon Sit. There are several mistakes in Tom Puzzle's comments (December 23, 1972) on my membership of the European Parliament.

I was not nominated by the Prime Minister or the Conservative Party. I was elected by the crossbenchers to fill the place offered to us.

I have never been a Conservative nor have I "rung up the Conservative Central Office to pour out my conscience before an important vote."

Tom Puzzle also says that Lord Reay has "no known qualifications" for Strasbourg. Tom Puzzle must know very little ,because Lord Reay is one of the ablest younger Conservative peers outside the Government.
