The Prize Comedy still lingers on the Haymarket stage ;

elicit- ing occasional hisses, by way of protest on the part of the public against the decision of the judges. The half-price visiters are nume- rous; for people can say they have seen Quid pro Quo without sitting through five acts of vulgar nothingness. Moreover, there are JOHN PARRY'S unique comic singing and playing ; and a new farce called The Milliner's Holyday, which is said to be very droll—though to us it ap- peared only outrageously absurd and indecent. The return of CHARLES MATHEWS and Madame VESTRIS also adds to the attractions of the Haymarket ; and its superior ventilation—the best of any theatre in the Metropolis—is a great recommendation in the Dog-days.
