MIRABILIA.*

This is a book calculated for very general perusal. It is one of those we should put into our Innkeeper's Library ; for it would be difficult to find any traveller who might not pick up an hour or two's amuse- ment from it. It is in fact a book of extracts, containing- such portions of the works of voyagers as describe the more remarkable phwnomena, of nature and art; besides which, there are descriptions of buildings,. of curiosities, and antiquities, which are immediateiy under the eye of Englishmen, but which many may, like to know more accurately,— such are the Tower, Eddystone Lighthouse, &c. On the whole, we do not say that the execution is perfect, but it is certainly well adaptect for its purpose—sale.
