OXFORD, June 6.—The Regius Professorship of Divinity in the University of Ox- ford, to which is annexed a Canonry of Christ Church and the Rectory of Ewelme, Oxfordshire, has been given to the Rev. CAMBRIDGE, June 12.—On Saturday last the Chancellor's gold medal for the best English poem by a resident under-graduate, was adjudged to A. Tennyson, of Trinity College.—Subject, " Timbuctoo."—The Parson prize (for the best translation of a passage from Shakspeare into Greek verse) was on Saturday last adjudged to C. R. Ken- nelly, of Trinity College.—Subject :—Henry VIII.
