It is conceivable —with difficulty—that the experiences of the author and his friends might be worth recording ; but nothing could endure the strain of being chronicled in this fashion. Where is the fun of making one of the travellers say that he ha not going to wash him- self during the cruise P Wo can quite believe that a week may be pleasantly spent on the Norfolk Broads ; but the adventure is not commended by this book.
