In Erewhon Revisited Mr. Turvey begins to examine boys in the "Musical Banks" catechism : "My duty towards my neighbour," said the boy," is to be quite sure that he is not likely to borrow money of me before I let him speak to me at all, and then to have as little to do with me as poss. . . ." A prize of £5, which may be divided, is offered for a continuation of the catechism in not more than 150 words. Entries must be addressed to the Spectator, 99 Gower Street, London, W.C.1, in envelopes marked" Competition," and must be received not later than June 25th. Results will be published in the Spectator of July 4th.
