Weeds and Seeds

There is nothing that will do for weeds but hard work. So many lovely things are coming into flower and ripening that it is easy to stand and stare. Meanwhile, the weeds seed as fast as anything in the -garden. Pulled late, they will leave a crop that remains dormant in the soil until the next downpour, and one day put off will mean two

days' work in the end, as I know to my cost. Lug Nun.
