Mr Moss Evans

Sir: Just to inform you and Richard Ingrams that his distasteful attack on Moss Evans • was an inexcusable use of journalistic licence. I refer to the piece in your 6 June issue in which Ingrams referred to Moss having had a seizure on Robin Day's Question Time programme.

The facts are that after the programme Moss went home and suffered a burst ulcer. His illness had nothing to do with the debate on the block vote and his so-called graniteface look would no doubt be because of the discomfort caused by the ulcer.
