The revival of the old farce of A Wife for a Day, at the Adelphi Thea- tre, would scarcely serve as a pretext to contradict the person who might affirm that no theatrical novelty had been produced this week. The Yankee comedian Silsbee has a new character,—that is to say, his name is brought into a new combination in the play-bills ; but really he is the same in everything he undertakes.
