letter in your issue of September 6 purporting to be from me, and referring to a Mr. Findlater and a Mr. Hawkins. I shall be grateful if you will allow me to state that I am not even remotely interested in the controversy between these gentlemen, and can- not imagine why or by whom my obscure name and humble address should have been used.—Yours faithfully,
