The latest telegrams from Berlin indicate that the Emperor Frederick's

health is decidedly worse. The message-senders, who are habitually optimist, admit in the reports of Thursday that his Majesty's sleep is continually broken by coughing. and that " a further development of the growth in the larynx has occurred suddenly, and in so alarming a way that Sir Morell Mackenzie has summoned Professor Bergmann to a consultation. According to an official bulletin of Friday, such "a contraction has taken place in the air-passage" that it has been necessary to change the tube.
