A conference was held on Wednesday at the City Terminus

Hotel, Cannon Street, Mr. Miall in the chair, on the right course to pursue with respect to the Irish Established Church. The Conference agreed that the Irish Establishment ought to be abolished, and that no division of the endowments amongst other Churches was permissible, but could not agree on anything further as to the actual disposal of the revenues. In this respect it was a mere index of the intensity of divergence amongst the opponents of the Irish Establishment.
