The Picture Ship The ship, ' Leonardo da Vinci,' bearing

the priceless Italian pictures which are to be exhibited in London, arrived safely in the Thames on Wednesday. The tremendous gales caused some anxiety. The tug which escorted the ' Leonardo da Vinci ' left her for a tine to stand by a vessel in distress. It is a cause for great satisfaction here not less than in Italy that, though the conditions at sea could not have been worse, no damage has been done to the pictures.
