Th3 Desert of Dreams. By Mrs. Frances Everard. (Hutchinson. 7s.

6d. net.)—The reader who does not object to being frankly transported to fihnland will be amused by The Desert of Dreams, in which the most astounding adventures follow one after the other. Incidentally the story contains a very attractive account of the tourist arrangements of the Compagnie Generale Transatlantique. These arc apparently quite first-rate.
