In sonic ways the most exciting event this -week has

been the start of the Buckau,' the first Rotor ship, on her maiden voyage from Danzig to Leith in Scotland. As we write on Wednesday, she has only completed the first half of that voyage, across the 'Baltic, from Danzig to Kid, but her progress is declared to have been satisfactory under the most trying conditions of violent head winds and heavy seas. Should she successfully complete the voyage across the North Sea, there seems little doubt that it will have been proved that we have discovered a really effective way of harnessing the winds for commercial navigation.
