Sm,—In approving the Lord Chancellor's view that Hitler, Himmler and Co. should be declar5d outlaws and deprived of any protection of the law, " Janus " points out that, so far as justice is concerned, they might well be shot out of hand. I hope, however, that if this declaration is made, they will be told that, if caught, they will be hanged, not shot. Shooting is a relatively honourable form of execution.—Yours
