Lord Duncannou has made arrangements with the parish officers of

St. George's and Chelsea to widen the bridge at the end of Sloane Square, over the great sewer that divides the two parishes, so as to make it more convenient for his Mojesty to pass, when he comes to town from Windsor, up the King's Road.

The Society of Friends have presented the Anti-Slavery Society with one thousand pounds, from "a subscriation raised to aid in pro- moting the total abolition of the slave trade and slavery."—Chri.stant Advocate.
