Glut and• Hunger The resolution on the under-consumption of agricultural

products laid before the International Labour Conference by the Australian and New Zealand delegates contains considerable possibilities. The proposal is that the repre- sentatives Of ekporters anxious to find an outlet for their products 'shall consider the problem in conjunction with representatives of Ministries of Health in different coun- tries concerned over the under-nourishment of their PoPulations. Some link between the problems of over- Production and under-consumption has been established in Great Britain by the scheme for enabling school- children to secure milk at reduced prices, thereby bene- fiting the farmer and their own health simultaneously. Whether anything of that kind can be achieved on an international scale remains to be discovered ; but the attempt is well worth making.
