THE ARMY ESTIMATES.

The Committeeof Supply, Mr. PEEL moved that the number of men for the ensuing flnanical year should be 126,796. This, he explained, gives an apparent reduction of 120,000 on the vote of last year; but as the number of men voted had not been raised, the real reduction was considerably less. It has been determined to retain 9000 men who would have been otherwise discharged, and to suspend recruiting for some months, which would enable them gradually to absorb these men.

Much talk ensued on many points of minor interest; and a number of votes on account were agreed to.
