The Ministerial reckonings of gain by the general election have

grown more specific, and we hear that their anticipations have proved more cor- rect than their opponents expected. They count upon a compact party of 310 ; they reckon four Liberals who have definitively adhered to their policy,--including a name which we cannot but consider doubtful ; and they will probably, it is said, have with them ten or a dozen Irish Ca headed by a very zealous member of that persuasion, not hereto- fore, however, regarded as a leader of any party.
