Sia.—In reply to the appeal of "Non Nobis " in your issae Of April 30th I subjoin two couplets, in case either of them should appear suitable for the war memorial to which he refers :- " Who die for others, whatsoe'er befall, Needs must be dear to Him who died for all.

These, who for truth and freedom gave their best, Now in the Paradise of God do rest."
