On Wednesday the Prime Minister was able to inform the

House of Commons that Germany had tendered " a complete acceptance of every demand " made by the Allies last week. He read the German reply agreeing to carry out " without reserve or condition " the Allied terms for reparation, for dis- armament, and for the trial of the war criminals. This time, we trust, Germany will fulfil her paper promises in good faith.
