am dining in a crowded restaurant with my fiancé and his mother; she does not like me very much.

The conversation gets a bit heated and she an- nounces, in tones that can be heard all over the restaurant: 'Never will I allow my darling son to marry a shicksa; I would rather be dead!'

Would the Act cover this sort of situation?
