SIR,--1 find it difficult to follow Mr. Driberg's logic. lf,

in 1938, armed Nazi aggression should have been resisted—I agree wholeheartedly with him that it should—why should armed Communist aggression not be resisted in Vietnam today? Surely he would not maintain that armed aggression should be re- sisted when it is Nazi but not when it is Communist?
