A Paper White as white could be,

The Government's last Fiat,

Then Donnelly must needs complain His conscience bade him to abstain, And so did Woodrow Wyatt.

But things aren't always, Mr. Strauss Averred with his accustomed nous,

Gold just because they glisten.

And now in black and white it's down, The Paper's really only Brown, And Brown's prepare4 to listen.
