Byron's birthplace

Sir: Readers of Richard West's article (23 April) on the by-elections at Ashfield and Grimsby may be interested to know that Lord Byron was not the most interesting person born in Nottinghamshire – because he was born in London at 16 Holies Street, Cavendish Square. Perhaps I could offer Mr West a substitute – Robin Hood?
