We have received six more of the charming little volumes

to which Juliana Horatio, Ewing contributed the quaint, humorous recitatives and Mr. R. Andre the appropriate and characteristic illustrations. They are published by the S.P.C.X., and their titles are Mother's Birthday Review, The Poet and the Brook, Baby, Papiy, Kitty, • Grandmother's String, The Mill Stream, and Convalescence. Whether we have seen them before, we cannot say, though we have a dim remembrance of the last with its fanny beginning :—

" Hold my hand, little si,ter, and nurse my head. whIle I try to remember the word ; What was it? that the doctors say is now firmly established both in me and my bird. C.0-N Con, with a Con; sloe, with a stam,—no! that's Constantinople, that is, The capital of the country where rhubarb-and-ma raesia comes from, and I wish they would keep it in that couctri, and not send it to this."

It will sadden many a Christmas gathering that the bright and tender spirit which knew so well the hearts of the litt'e ones is with us no longer.
