the SPECTATOR.] •- Sm,—There has been a number of letters in the public Press concerning the ten per cent. cut. You, yourself, publish one; But in none of these, nor in any broadcast statement, has it been mentioned that medical practitioners also have been hit.

It is true that we have not organized public meetings ; we have not bombarded the authorities with indignant protests. Yet, nevertheless, the cut is a very real hardship to us which we are prepared to bear, cheerfully, because we believe that it is for the good of our country. But we should like to be mentioned among those who have been reduced.— I am, Sir, &c.,
