Everyone will think the better of Sir Archibald Wavell for

his frank admission to the Council of State at Delhi that he made a miscalculation about the possibilities of an enemy attack in Libya last March, and everyone will welcome warmly his announce- ment that a booklet entitled The Tiger Springs is to be published shortly, to commemorate the brilliant service of Indian troops in the Middle East. Nothing could be more valuable, and the booklet should have as wide a sale here as in India. If its contents are as good as its title it should claim a place beside The Rattle of Britain and Bomber Command. * *
