SIR,—As one of your most ardent admirers and interested readers of your popular publication, will you permit me to make the following prediction ?

• Mr. T. 0. M. Sopwith, owner of the most beautiful and capable British yacht of its class seen in our waters during all of the contests for the " Cup," has in the ' Endeavour the " baby " that's going to take back to England the America's Cup.

I have written to Mr. Sopwith at Newport regarding this, but for fear that he may not get my letter—I asked him not to reply until after he had won the prize—I wish to put myself on record at your office. Kindly place this prognosti- cation in a -conspicuous place.—I am, Sir, &c.,
