Postal credit

Sir: On November 30 of last year a bookseller in England dispatched a book by surface mail to me here in Canada. It arrived today, March 14. As I am obliged to assume that it was conveyed by rowing-boat and pack-mule, its completion of the journey in just under four months seems to be a remarkable achievement, for which I would like the British postal services to be given full credit. Is it a record?
