SATURDAY.

A considerable number of the Liberal Members of the House of Commons, who still remain at their posts, held a meeting yesterday for the purpose of deliberating on the measures which the conduct of the Peers may render necessary. It was agreed that the absent Members should be recalled to town, and that precautionary steps should be taken with a view to curb the movements of the Court and Oligarchy during the recess. The Appropriation Act is not yet passed ; and it is probable that the Representatives of the People may deem it prudent to authorize the expenditure of a part only of the Supplies, and thus render an early reassembling of Parliament necessary.
