suitors. No less than twelve candidates are asking the suffrages of the -electors, one of them supported by Dr. Manning. It is believed that Sir John Ennis, who is making a personal canvas, "in -company with a judicious friend and a respectable solicitor," will be the successful candidate, the electors, it is to be presumed, understanding his arguments. Poor Mr. Rearden, with his little Bill for the Repeal of the Union, seems to have no chance.
