On Friday night, nine acres of wheat in the Isle of Thanot were unbound and scattered abroad, because it had not been reaped. Similar scenes have occurred in tho neighbourhood of Dover, in consequence of the wheat having been mowed, not reaped. !Why . was it not reaped I It is bad husbandry to mow corn ; it is hut a small saving in point of wages ; it adds as much to the rate as it takes from the reaper.]
