TRUSTEES AND " SETTLEES."

[To THE EDITOR OF THE "SPECTATOR."] SIR,—Referring to your article on the subject of "Trustees" in the Spectator of November 24th, if a word is wanted to replace the legal relic, " Cestui que trust," I suggest the above as being a correct new word, and analogous to several words now in use. For instance " lessor," the person leasing, and "lessee," the person to whom leased, "mortgagor," "mortgagee," &c. So " settlor," the person settling (by will or deed) ; this we use, and why not " settlee," the person to whom settled, passing through " trustee," the person to whom trusted P " Beneficiary " is often used in the sense of my " settlee," but as it also applies to a person benefiting directly and not the subject of a trait, it is not explicit.—I am, Sir, &C., COUNTRY SOLICITOR.
