There are stories, recollections, hints about shorthand, about stamps, and sundry other matters. guidquid agent pueri in fact. —Friendly Leaves, edited by Christabel Coleridge (Wells Gardner, Darton, and Co., 2s.), comes sufficiently recommended, we should suppose, to many readers, by the name on the title- page, as, indeed, does another periodical, Mothers in Council, edited by Charlotte M. Yonge (same publishers, 3s.)—Our Darlings (J. F. Shaw and Co.) is to be noticed for excellent illustrations, among other attractions.—My Week-Day Picture Story-book.
