General Knowledge Questions

Oua weekly prize of one guinea for the best thirteen Questions submitted is awarded this week to Mr. W. B. Medway, 7 St. Alban's Road, Westbury Park, Bristol, for the following:—

Questions on Jane Austen's Fools, Wiseacres, and Wits

11. " Everybody laughs at me Bo about the Doctor, and I cannot think why. My cousins say they are sure I have made a conquest, but for my part I declare I never think about him from one hour's end to another."

12. " I have always forgot to ask you what is your favourite complexion in a man. -Do you like them best dark or fair 2 " 13. " In every power of which taste is the foundation, excellence is pretty fairly divided between the sexes."
