Mr. Rutheford Alcock, moves from Canton, to be Consul General in Ja an. Mr. Daniel Brooke Robertson moves from Shanghai to Canton. Mr. Harry Smith Parkes, leaves Amoy for Shanghai. Mr. Walter Henry Modhurst, exchanges Foo-chow-foo for Tangthow. Mr. Thomas Taylor Meadows, In- terpreter at Shanghai, is posted Consul at Newehwang. Mr. Martin Crof- ton Morrison Vice-Consul at Foo-chow-foe, is to be Consul at Foe-chow- foe. Mr. William Raymond Gingell, becomes Consul at Amoy. Mr. Charles A. Sinclair, becomes Consul at Chinkiang. Mr. Frederick E. B. Harvey, goes as Consul to Ningpo. Mr. George Whittingham Caine, is named Consul at Swatow. Mr. Robert Gilmour Colquhouu, Consul General in Wallachia, is to be Consul General in Egypt. Mr. John Green, Consul at Alexandria, is to be Consul General in Wallachia. Mr. Edward Walter Bon- ham, Consul at Calais, is to be Consul at Naples.
