Father Delany has been persuaded to declare, that his recantation

of Protestantism, and his confession that he had been hired to traduce the Catholics, were got from him while he was delirious. This, how- ever, is positively denied by Mr. Campbell, the priest who received his confession. It appears that the famous Mr. Martin of Killes- sandra was one of the parsons who kept Delany in pay.
