Hackett .and the Sun

Sir: Poor Mr Hackett has it wrong yet again. The Sun is not now selling 2,600,000 copies a day. It is selling more than 2,750,000.

For the setond time in a year, Mr Hackett has deliberately chosen to give an outdated six monthly average figure, without saying that it was a six monthly average, rather than the up-to-date figure which was available to him for the price of a telephone call.
