IRELAND.

Mr. Smith O'Brien met his constituents of? Limerick County, at Limerick, on Tuesday, and delivered a speech explanatory of his vote on the Jamaica Bill, and of his general conduct in Parliament ; after which, the following among other resolutions was passed unanimously.

" That while we regret the effect of Mr. O'Brien's vote on the Jamaica question in weakening an administration which we believe to be disposed to do justice to Ireland, we are of opinion that his Parliamentary conduct has been influenced by the strictest integrity ; and, therefore, request he will retain his seat as one of our Representatives."
