hope that the din pates will now be amicably settled, thanks to diplomatic advice. This is confirmed by letters from Rome; stating that the Pope has recalled his Nuncio from Lucerne; and from Milan, that the Pope has ordered the Jesuits to decline the direction of the ecclesiastical seminary in the Swiss Canton.
