The Science of Exchanges. By N. A. Nicholson, MA ,

Trinity College, Oxford. (Effingham Wilson.)—This is the second edition of a useful little book by which a clear idea of a complicated subject may bo gained without much trouble. Its form, that of question and answer, adds, we think, to its clearness. On the other hand, it makes the treatise more unreadable. Probably, however, this is of the less importance, as when a reader tackles to the science of exchanges he has a determination to acquire information and is not in search of amusement.
