an interesting little love-story, the scene being laid in the siege of Londonderry. It is short and well done, and a very decided im- provement on "The Quest of Jack Hazlewood." We can recom- mend it safely to young people, who will realise from its pages, perhaps, something of the discomforts of a siege.
