The British and Foreign Bible Society: Ninety.sixth Report. (146 Queen

Victoria Street. 1s.)—The Bible Society continues to record an increase of work, and, we are sorry to see, an in- adequacy of income to meet expenditure. The Society hardly receives the support that it deserves, as far as some religious bodies are concerned. It may safely be said that no mission to the heathen, or, indeed, to non-Christian peoples in general, could work without the help which the Bible Society affords, or has afforded in the past.
