"MADRIGALS AND CHRONICLES."

[To the Editor of the SPECTATOR.] SIR,—With reference to your appreciative notice (in the issue of the Spectator for August 9th) of my publication, Madrigals and Chronicles, being newly found poems written by John Clare, edited by Edmund Blunden, I should be grateful if you would permit me to state that this work is published at the offices of the Beaumont Press, 75 Charing Cross Road, W.C. 2—my only address—since I have just learned, much to my surprise, that there is a firm of general printers in the East End trading as the Beaumont Press with which I have no connexion whatsoever and to whom numerous enquiries for the " Clare " volume have been addressed in error.—! am, Sir, &e., CYRIL W. BEAtintora.
