Brown's Sporting Tour in India. By Captain W. S. Hunt.

(Regards.) —It may be that we are wanting in a sense of humour, but we really have not been much amused by this series of coloured sketches, illus- trative of the calamities that a gentleman of weak nerves is likely to be involved in during the course of a sporting tour in India. Mr. Brown managed to kill a bear by accident, but he gets into very humiliating positions in his attempts upon pigs, tigers, and buffaloes ; he stalks a donkey instead of a deer, and shoots a tame elephant belonging to Government. The drawing seems to us feeble and the fan rather wild, but we have seen people to all appearance exceedingly delighted with quite as sorry fooling.
