The Western Front, after a long calm, is now becoming

agitated. The trench raids undertaken by both sides In search of information have grown more serious. In the first three days of this week Rir Douglas Haig reported four British raids near -Messines, 'La Nage, and Lens, in which the enemy suffered severely.
