On 12 March, three P.E. instructors in Pentonville Prison will

try to get their names in the Guinness Book of Records. Messrs Gordon and Heavey will try, re- spectively, to do the greatest number of press-ups and throw the greatest number of basketball shots. Mr George Leggett, who is 55, will try to lift his own bodyweight continuously until he has lifted one million kilos. These attempts will not be made to take the instructors' minds off their current pupil, Taki, but to raise money for David Pinder, a five-month-old prison officer's son, who needs £250,000 for a liver trans- plant. Those wishing to send money or offer sponsorship to this cause should write to the David Pinder Fund, H.M. Prison, Pentonville, as soon as possible. Taki himself is sponsoring his instructors and hopes that others will do the same.

We deeply apologise to entrants for the Treasure Hunt, the results of which we promised to publish this week. Unfortu- nately, there is no space for a full report of the results and so, rather than abbreviate it, we shall publish it in the next issue.
