" To win the love of thee ;" a Ballad.

" When first I saw thee smile ;" a Polacca. By C. M. SOLA. " When moonlight brightly ;" a Ballad. The first of these songs is one of those agreeable melodies, without much pretension to originality, which is sure to please most audiences, while it is within the reach of most singers. The second is a short polacca, divested of any divisions or passages which usually accompany this description of sung; and, therefore, like the first, accessible to most amateurs. The third can scarcely be called M. Sont's composition ; but its passages are become common property, and he has arranged them in a pleasing flume.
